According to the Metro Nashville Police, a hit-and-run accident occurred on Sunday in South Nashville.
The officials reported that a woman suffered from life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
A truck driver leaving the fairgrounds reported an injured woman on Nolensville Pike near Woodycrest Avenue around 10:30 p.m.
The officials are yet to identify the injured victim.
It is yet to be confirmed whether drugs, alcohol, or reckless driving was the factor involved in the crash.
The officials are yet to determine any information regarding the identity of the suspect or the description of the vehicle.
