Two people received injuries following a traffic collision Sunday night in Whitethorn.
As per the initial information, the head-on crash took place at about 5:42 p.m. on Shelter Cove Road and Kings Peak Road. According to the authorities, two people were injured, but the extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time. Two other people involved were not hurt in the accident.
Traffic was rerouted from Upper Toth Road to Willow Glen. The roads were reopened to traffic at about 9:29 p.m. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time. No further details are available.
The accident remains under investigation.
