Teen hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Pecos Road near Washington (Las Vegas, NV)

A teen received injuries after being hit by a vehicle Monday morning on Pecos Road near Washington Avenue.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian collision was reported at about 7:30 a.m. Authorities actively responded to the scene and rushed the teen to University Medical with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. It is also unclear if the involved driver remained at the scene or not after the crash. Pecos was shut down for more than an hour during the investigation. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
