Power supply was disrupted following a motor vehicle accident Sunday in Washoe Valley.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place near Old US-395 in Washoe Valley. The incident caused power outage for several hours in the area. A NV Energy representative said that a car crashed into a pole on Feb. 20 and caused the outage. It is unknown if the crash caused any injuries.
NV Energy worked on restoring power as quickly and safely as possible. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
The incident remains under investigation.
