Pedestrian injured after being hit twice on Churn Creek Road (Redding, CA)

On Thursday night, a male pedestrian suffered injuries after getting struck by two vehicles on Churn Creek Road.

The pedestrian accident took place at about 9 p.m. near the intersection of Churn Creek Road and Mistletoe Lane. The preliminary investigation showed that a Honda Civic struck the man who went onto the windshield, and was then hit by a Dodge pickup truck as he fell on the ground.

Both drivers informed the officials that they were unaware of what they hit, and they are having a difficult time identifying the victim. Both the drivers did not display any signs of impairment. No other details have been provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
