Pedestrian hurt after getting hit by a vehicle in Scottsdale (Scottsdale, AZ)

On Wednesday afternoon, a pedestrian was hurt after being hit by a vehicle in Scottsdale.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian collision took place at Raintree Drive and Thompson Peak Parkway. On arrival, paramedics took the victim to the hospital as a precaution. The injured victim is expected to be fine, according to the authorities.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. It is also unclear if the involved driver stayed at the scene or not after the accident. The identity of the victim has not been released.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
