Pedestrian hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA)

On Monday, one person suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana.

The hit-and-run crash was reported at approximately 10:06 p.m. at the intersection of East 20th Street and North Main Street in Santa Ana. On arrival, emergency responders found an adult pedestrian down on the roadway. The victim received medical aid at the scene and was then transported to a hospital with a leg injury.

The vehicle that hit the pedestrian left the scene after the collision. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed at this time. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.

The incident remains under active review.
