One person killed after an auto-pedestrian collision in Golden Hills (Golden Hills, CA)

One person was killed after getting struck by a vehicle Sunday night in Golden Hills.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision was reported at 9:20 p.m. on Santa Lucia Street and West Valley Boulevard. According to the officers, someone reported that they hit a person who walked in front of their vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials.

The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. It is unknown if drugs and alcohol was involved in the accident. No further details are made available.

The incident remains under review.
