One person dead, two others injured after a two-vehicle collision in SE Austin (Austin, TX)

On Sunday morning, one person died and two others sustained injuries following a traffic accident in SE Austin.

As per the initial information, Austin Fire Crews actively responded to 5500 Nuckols Crossing Road in southeast Austin at around 7:05 a.m. on reports of a two-vehicle accident. On arrival, first responders rushed two people to the hospital.

One person received life-threatening injuries while the other had potentially serious injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

An investigation is underway.
