Las Vegas police say a driver has lost his life after his car crashed into several objects and slamming into a cement wall on early Saturday morning in the south part of the valley.
The single-vehicle casualty took place at about 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Pebble Road at Manalang Road, near Pollock Drive.
As per the initial reports of police, a 2009 Toyota Camry was moving westbound on Pebble Road at a rapid pace when it failed to stay within the travel lane. The car hit the north curb, left the roadway and swerved to the right.
It continued on westbound passing through the intersection and smashed into a cement-block wall on the northwest corner. The car then was covered with flames, LVMPD Traffic said on Twitter.
Police say the driver was beyond recovery when medical personnel came to the rescue and was declared dead at the scene.
