Officials identified Suzanne Bardwell who died after a two-vehicle crash in Longview (Longview, TX)

Authorities identified Suzanne Bardwell, of Gilmer, as the woman who died of injuries she suffered following a two-vehicle accident Friday in Longview.

The fatal car crash took place at around 12:20 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7 in the 2900 block of Gilmer Road. According to the investigation reports, a Ford pickup truck was going southbound on Gilmer Road when a Buick passenger vehicle entered the intersection of Gemi Drive and Gilmer Road into the path of the truck.

Just then, both the vehicles crashed in the intersection. The driver of the Buick passenger car, Suzanne Bardwell, was rushed to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Ford pickup truck incurred only minor injuries in the accident. No other details are made available.

An investigation continues.
