On Wednesday, authorities identified 58-year-old Lora Jean Wagner as the woman who lost her life last month following a rollover crash in Ramona.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place at around 2 a.m. Jan. 7 on State Route 78. The preliminary reports showed that Lora Jean Wagner was driving alone when she crashed her car on State Route 78. The reports further stated that she was in a blue Saturn SC2, traveled east on SR-78, when the car drifted onto the south shoulder east of Casner Road.
The Saturn struck a dirt ravine and barbed wire fence then flipped. Wagner, who was not buckled up, was ejected from the car. A passerby called 911 for help after the accident. Wagner succumbed to her injuries at the scene. No other information is available.
An investigation is ongoing.
