Authorities identified 28-year-old Robert Mullins, of Fontana, as the victim who was killed following a crash Sunday in Fontana.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle accident took place on Interstate 10 west of the Cherry Avenue crossover. Officers actively responded to the scene at 4:29 p.m. Mullins was pronounced dead at 4:44 a.m. by the officials.
It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved in the collision. The circumstances surrounding the crash also remain unclear. No other information is available.
An investigation is ongoing.
