Medics transported three people to the hospital with slight injuries after a multi-vehicle pile-up on Saturday morning.
The Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) states speed and icy road conditions contributed to the 17-car pile-up.
Officials say the crash took place I-80 westbound just before the Vista Boulevard off-ramp. The incident occurred just before 7:15 a.m.
Also, Sparks Fire also arrived at the scene.
Following the crash, authorities shut down the area roads temporarily. Later, they opened it again for traffic.
Additionally, NHP says that they are looking into the footage of the crash and will charge drivers at fault.
