A motorcyclist lost their life following a fatal traffic collision this morning on the Artesia (91) Freeway in Artesia.
The deadly motorcycle crash took place at around 2:35 a.m. on the westbound freeway, west of Shoemaker Avenue, where the bike rider was reported down in the carpool lane, the California Highway Patrol mentioned.
As per reports, the motorcyclist may have been rear-ended by a party bus, the CHP said. A representative from the coroner’s office was also requested to the scene at 3:47 a.m. The circumstances that have led to the crash remain unknown. Authorities will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin.
An investigation is continuing.
