On Wednesday, one person was killed after a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 15 in Pala Mesa.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on the southbound side of the freeway, south of State Route 76 in the Pala Mesa area just before 11:30 a.m. The incident led to the closure of several lanes in the area for about an hour.
The circumstances that have led up to the collision remain unknown at this time. Authorities will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin. No other details are immediately available with regards to the accident.
The crash remains under active review.
