Minor injury reported after a big rig crash on Old River Road (Bakersfield, CA)

On Thursday, a big rig crash on the Old River Road led to injuries.

As per the initial information, officials quickly responded to the intersection of Old River Road and Taft Highway at about 6 a.m. after getting reports of a two-vehicle wreck. The early reports showed that two big rigs were involved in the wreck.

On arrival, responders found a big rig leaking fluid and closed the roadway. According to the officials, the incident led to a minor injury. The events that have led up to the collision remain unclear at this time. No other information has been released by the authorities.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
