A man succumbed to his injuries last week after he was struck by a bus in Henderson last month, police said Wednesday.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the 700 block of East Horizon Drive after getting reports of an auto-pedestrian crash at 2:54 a.m. on Feb. 11. The preliminary reports showed that a Regional Transportation Commission bus was stationary with its “out of service” sign on.
As the bus was driving away, a pedestrian attempted to board it and was hit. The man was rushed to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena campus “with what appeared to be non-life-threatening” injuries. He died from his injuries on March. 2. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
