A man lost his life following a crash Thursday on El Camino Avenue.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle accident took place on El Camino Avenue. The authorities actively responded to the scene after getting reports of a collision at 2:40 a.m. and, on arrival, found an unoccupied vehicle. The involved driver left the accident scene before the officers arrived.
The early reports showed that a vehicle on El Camino Avenue went down the embankment below near Business 80. Police later found the vehicle and its driver who had major injuries. Despite the life-saving measures, the man died of his injuries at the scene. No other details are available.
The accident remains under investigation.
