A man in a wheelchair lost his life after being struck by a vehicle Sunday morning in North Hollywood.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place on Vineland Avenue at around 2:55 a.m. The early reports showed that a dark-colored, four-door sedan was heading southbound on Vineland Avenue when it hit the pedestrian in the southbound lanes between Sherman Way and Vanowen Street.

The driver involved fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. The pedestrian, only identified as a man in his early 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. No details are available regarding the suspect or their vehicle. No other information is available.
