Man hospitalized after a bicycle crash in Fresno (Fresno, CA)

On Thursday morning, a man in his 20s suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Fresno.

As per the initial information, the bicycle crash took place at approximately 7:00 a.m. on Clinton Avenue and Blythe Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed that the bicyclist failed to stop at a red light at Clinton Avenue and got hit by a vehicle. On arrival, emergency crews transported the cyclist to a hospital with several broken bones.

He was expected to be okay. The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Officials believe that drugs and alcohol were not involved in the accident. No other details are immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
