A man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in North Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, the fatal bicycle crash took place on Simmons Street near Craig Road. The early reports showed that a man in his 40s, who was not in a marked crosswalk, was hit by a vehicle Friday morning.
The driver of the vehicle called 9-1-1 for help and stayed at the scene. The man died of his injuries as a result of the accident. Simmons was shut down to traffic in both directions at Craig while crews worked at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
