A man lost his life after a vehicle went down an embankment Thursday in the Malibu area.
As per the initial information, the fatal crash was reported at around 6 a.m. on Kanan Dume Road at mile marker 11.76, north of Pacific Coast Highway. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. It is also not known if the incident caused any other injuries.
Traffic was rerouted around the area during the investigation. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
