On Thursday evening, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in Spokane Valley.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on Mansfield Avenue, between Houk Road and Discovery Place. Officials received a call informing about a male motorcyclist who seemed to be unconscious and not breathing. On arrival, emergency personnel provided medical aid to the victim.

The man was later declared dead at the scene by the officials. According to the eyewitnesses, the motorcycle was traveling fast down east Mansfield when it passed a car going in the same direction. The rider continued east and crashed into a Dodge truck that was turning onto Mansfield.

The driver of the truck remained unharmed in the accident and cooperated with the authorities. Motorists were asked to avoid the area. Mansfield Avenue was shut down in both directions in the immediate area as crews worked at the scene. No additional information has been provided.
