On Monday morning, a man lost his life following a single-vehicle accident in Deer Park.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on N. Echo Rd at about 6:20 a.m. The early reports showed that the motorcyclist was heading north on Echo Rd when he failed to navigate a left curve, traveled off the road and crashed. The man succumbed to his injuries after the accident.
It is unknown if the victim died at the scene or after being taken to a hospital. The rider was wearing a helmet at that time. Officials believe that speed did not play a factor in the crash. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
