Mail truck driver injured after a two-vehicle collision in College Station (College Station, TX)

On Monday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash injured a mail truck driver in College Station.

The incident took place at the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Welsh Avenue. The initial reports revealed that a mail truck was heading eastbound on Harvey Mitchell and another vehicle was going westbound. Officers mentioned that the vehicle tried to turn left to go south on Welsh and crashed into the mail truck.

On arrival, paramedics took the mail truck driver to the hospital with minor injuries. Police confirmed a citation to the driver of the other vehicle for failure to yield right of way. As of now, the crash scene has been cleared, officials said.

An investigation is ongoing.
