A traffic collision Monday morning in Modesto led to injuries.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place on Northbound 99. The early reports showed that an SUV lost control and smashed into the left side of the trailer of a truck. The driver and passengers received minor to moderate injuries as a result of the crash.
It is unknown how many people in total were injured. The incident also caused traffic delays on northbound 99 until roughly noon. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. Authorities have not shared any further details regarding the wreck.
An investigation is ongoing.
