Injuries were reported after a traffic collision Friday in Reno.
As per the initial information, the rollover crash took place at about 3:40 p.m. near the Parr Blvd exit. The early reports showed that a white car veered off the road and pulled over. The driver was thrown from the vehicle during the collision.
According to the authorities, there were injuries to people involved in the accident, but it is unknown how many occupants were in the car when it ran off a small embankment. Motorists travelling north out of Reno encountered heavy traffic for much of Friday afternoon due to the wreck.
Impairment is suspected to be involved in the crash. The traffic lanes were back open at around 6:25 p.m. Friday evening. No other information is available.
The cause of the crash remains under review.
