The Maricopa County Deputies reported a motor vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon. The accident happened close to the Stardust Blvd and Osprey Drive intersection at around 4 p.m.
According to the police, a golf cart was struck by a truck at around 4 p.m. The golf cart driver was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The truck driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. It is unknown whether the truck driver was speeding or whether intoxication played a role in the collision. The victim’s identity has not been made public. The fatal crash inquiry is still ongoing.
