A girl was injured after a crash Thursday afternoon in Little River-Academy.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area of FM 436 and Highway 95 at about 4:38 p.m. in response to a traffic accident. The early reports showed that a semi-truck and a go-cart were involved in the incident.
The reports also revealed that a boy and girl were riding a go-cart when it collided with the side of a semi-truck that was heading northbound. The girl was taken to a local area hospital in unknown condition. The boy did not require to be hospitalized. The driver of the truck was not charged. No other information is available.
An investigation is ongoing.
