Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger involved in Brentwood wreck that left a woman hurt (Los Angeles, CA)

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a wreck in Brentwood Friday afternoon that left a woman with minimal injuries.

As per the initial information, the accident involving four cars took place at about 4:15 p.m. on Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue. At this time, it is unknown if Schwarzenegger was driving or if he was a passenger in a vehicle at the time of the collision. Police said the actor remained unharmed in the accident.

A woman in a Toyota Prius was taken to a hospital to be treated for a cut to her head, but she is expected to be OK. No arrests has been made so far. Officials believe that drugs or alcohol did not contribute to the crash. Schwarzenegger’s SUV and the woman’s Prius were hauled away from the scene. The circumstances surrounding the wreck remain unclear.

The incident is under active review.
