On early Saturday morning, a crash in Houston led to a fatality.
As per the initial information, the fatal traffic collision was reported at about 5:32 on the Southwest Freeway, close to Houston Baptist University. The early reports showed that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident that led to traffic delays on Beltway 8.
Officials initially closed the northbound lanes of I-69/US-59 at Beechnut to give way to the investigation, but all lanes have since been reopened. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. No other details are immediately available.
