A driver was hurt after they smashed their vehicle through the storefront of a business on 23rd Street in Richmond while barely missed being hit in the face by a large wooden beam that came through the windshield.
As per the initial information, the emergency crews actively responded to the scene just before 9 p.m. on reports of a single-vehicle crash. The early reports showed that the vehicle crashed through the front of Mi Tintta Tattoo in the 700 block of 23rd Street, close to Garvin Avenue. The business was closed and unoccupied at the time of the collision.
When responders arrived, the driver was already out of the vehicle and only incurred minor injuries. The incident could have been much worse given the large wooden beam that crashed through the windshield. No other information is available.
