Child hospitalized after getting struck by a car in Santa Clarita (Santa Clarita, CA)

On Monday evening, a child was sent to the hospital after getting struck by a vehicle in Santa Clarita.

As per the initial information, at about 6 p.m. Monday, first responders actively responded to the area near the intersection of Magic Mountain and McBean Parkways in Valencia after getting reports that a vehicle struck a child.

On arrival, responders took the child to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown at this time. The incident did not cause any major traffic issues around the crash site. The identities of the vehicle’s driver and the injured child have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
