A man lost his life and a woman received injuries in a crash involving a car and a San Diego Metropolitan Transit System bus in University Heights, San Diego police said.
One of the two patients was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be removed, as per rescue crews. Police said that the man in his 60’s was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed, but he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. A 59-year-old woman on the bus was also transported to the hospital for minor injuries, police officers added. Authorities have not released any further information about the crash.
