Authorities identified 65-year-old Clifford E Keen who died in a crash in Thurston County (Thurston County, WA)

Authorities released the name of 65-year-old Clifford E Keen, a resident of Yelm, who lost his life in a fatal motorcycle accident in Thurston County on Sunday.

As of now, it is unknown if the man suffered a medical emergency or died as a result of driving off the road into a ditch. As per the reports, Clifford E Keen was traveling east on State Route 510 at milepost 12 between Yelm and Nisqually shortly after midnight.

Clifford E Keen’s motorcycle went off the road to the right and came to rest in a ditch. The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene. One lane of SR 510 was shut down for two hours after the crash. No other vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.

The authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
