Authorities identified 42-year-old Robert Meyer, of Fontana, as the man who lost his life following a single-vehicle crash in Upland.
As per the initial information, crews actively responded to the area at North 13th Avenue and East 9th Street after getting reports of a motorcycle accident. On arrival, first responders rushed Meyer to San Antonio Regional Hospital, where he was declared dead at 5:22 p.m.
The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown remain unknown at this time. Officials have not released and additional information in connection with the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
