Authorities identified 36-year-old Jesse Huggins who died in a deadly motorcycle crash (Snohomish, WA)

Authorities identified 36-year-old Jesse Huggins who lost his life in a fatal motorcycle collision southeast of Snohomish.

Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies actively responded to the crash scene at about 3 p.m. Sunday in the 15000 block of Old Snohomish-Monroe Road. Detectives believe that Jesse Huggins, 36, of Monroe, lost control of a motorcycle, went off the road and crashed into heavy brush late Saturday night or early Sunday.

Huggins succumbed to blunt-force injuries at the scene, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Monday. Huggins had been out with friends on First Street in Snohomish before the crash, according to the sheriff’s office. Detectives urged anyone who was with Huggins over the weekend to come forward. Investigators also believe that Huggins may have just passed a vehicle when he crashed, the release said.

The sheriff’s Collision Investigation Unit is looking into the cause of the crash.
