According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page, a motor vehicle collision killed at least 1 person in Bakersfield.
The accident was reported to have happened just outside of Arvin, at around 10 p.m, on Friday night. The California Highway Patrol stated that the crash happened near Malaga Road and Sunset Boulevard.
The collision was between a gray sedan and a pick up truck.
There is no clarity pertaining to the number of people who were hurt. The police have asked the people to avoid using that area.
Further investigation relating to the crash is underway.
