On Saturday, one person suffered injuries following a wrong-way accident on I-10.
As per the initial information, the head-on collision took place shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 East, close to Prairieville. The early reports showed that a vehicle going the wrong way led to a head-on crash on Interstate 10.
On arrival, emergency crews transported one person to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The incident resulted in major traffic delays in the area for almost three hours as crews worked at the scene. No other details were provided by the officials.
