A vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian on Cobb Parkway (Kennesaw, GA)

On Saturday night, one person was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking on Cobb Parkway.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place south of Mack Dobbs Road. The early reports showed that the person was walking south of Cobb Parkway when they got hit. According to the officers, two drivers stayed at the scene after the crash.

No charges are expected at this time. The southbound lanes of Cobb Parkway near Mack Dobbs Road were shut down as crews worked at the scene. Just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Officers reported that the scene had been cleared. No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
