A vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian in the Medical District (Memphis, TN)

On late Wednesday night, one person suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Medical District.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian accident took place in the 600 block of Madison Avenue. On arrival, emergency crews transported the injured victim to Regional One for treatment of their injuries.

Authorities have not provided any details about the extent of the injuries sustained by the pedestrian. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown at this time. The identity of the victim has not been released. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash remains under active review.
