On Thursday morning, one person died following a two-vehicle accident on the southbound 170 Freeway in Sun Valley.
As per the initial information, the fatal incident took place at about 5 a.m. close to Roscoe Boulevard. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. It is also not clear which vehicles were involved in the collision.
Three lanes were shut down while authorities worked at the crash scene. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details have been made available.
