A fatality was reported following a motor vehicle accident Thursday in Santa Clarita.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the Antelope (14) Freeway and Newhall Avenue off ramp, the crash site, at 12:09 a.m. in response to a traffic collision. Officials confirmed that one person died at the scene.
The early reports showed that a vehicle was found in the embankment off the freeway. It is unknown how many vehicles in total were involved in the accident. The circumstances surrounding the crash also remain unclear. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
