On Saturday, a man lost his life in a three-vehicle wreck near Cave Creek and Cactus roads.
At around 11:30 a.m., officers actively responded to the area on reports of a crash. The preliminary investigation showed that two motorcycles and a white sedan were involved in the accident. A male motorcyclist was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
It is not clear if the other motorcycle rider and the vehicle driver received any injuries following the crash. Impairment is not suspected to be involved in the collision. Traffic in the area will remain restricted for a while.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
