A hit-and-run crash killed a female pedestrian in Nashville (Nashville, TN)

On Saturday night, a woman lost her life following an auto-pedestrian collision in Nashville.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place on Dickerson Pike. The early reports showed that a vehicle was heading northbound when it hit a 34-year-old Nashville woman. The crash occurred on the side of Dickerson Pike but officials could not determine whether the woman was trying to cross the street or walking on the side of the road.

The female pedestrian died of her injuries after the collision. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No signs of impairment were found at the scene. Authorities are working on collecting security footage from nearby businesses to help identify both the vehicle and the driver. No other details are available.

The incident remains under active review.
