On Thursday morning, one person died after a fiery crash at Johnston Street and Guilbeau Road.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle accident took place just after midnight on Johnston Street near Guilbeau Road. The preliminary investigation showed that a car slammed into a utility pole and got engulfed into flames.
Officials shut down a portion of Guilbeau Road between Birch Drive and Johnston Street as crews worked at the scene. According to the authorities, traffic is flowing in the area as the scene has been cleared. No other details are immediately available.
