A fiery car crash injured 2 people in Vermont Square Area (Los Angeles, CA)

On Sunday, a fiery car crash caused injuries to 2 people in Vermont Square Area and left the vehicle engulfed in flames.

As per the reports, the incident happened in 5131 S. Western Avenue at around 1:50 p.m. The spokeswoman Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department stated that an auto fire spread into vegetation on a vacant lot and set a nearby house on fire.

On arrival, the firefighters extinguished the fire and transported a man and woman in their early 20s to a hospital, Stewart added. Reports showed that one officer of Los Angeles Police also received minor body cut, but refused transport to a hospital. No further details have been provided by the authorities.

LAPD’s South Traffic Division is looking into this crash.
