A fiery accident involving a tractor-trailer closed down lanes on I-24WB in Antioch and caused major traffic issues in the area.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at Exit 57 near Haywood Lane. The early reports showed that traffic was backed up all the way to Hickory Hollow as of around 11:10 a.m. The reports further revealed that westbound lanes and both shoulders were shut down as a result of the wreck.
The exit ramp was also closed following the accident. As of now, no Injuries have been reported due to the crash. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear. No further details are available.
An investigation is underway.
