Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed life of one person on I-15.
The incident took place at about 10:30 a.m. on I-15 southbound near Lamb Boulevard on Monday morning. Trooper Ashlee Wellman reported that a motorcycle was going southbound on I-15 south of Lamb when it fell down for unknown reasons.
On arrival, authorities declared the motorcyclist deceased. The accident did not involve any other vehicles. The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time. Officials shut down far right travel lane and asked the drivers to expect delays and avoid the area.
An investigation is underway.
